Oonagh Duckworth is director and mentor for Springback Academy Springback Academy an initiative of the aiming to nurture the potential of aspiring dance writers and promote quality criticism and the role of the reviewer as a mediator between artist and audience.
She is also responsible for the continued development of Springback.org or which includes Springback Magazine edited by Sanjoy Roy and to which Springback Academy graduates contributes, Springback Assembly an annual think-tank that brings different generations of writers together to reflect and debate the wider social and political context in which movement is being made today and Springback Alliance which supports peer-to-peer initiatives and collaborations with external partners, completing pathway designed for freelancers working in essential areas supporting dance.
